The Ananda Nano is an open-back planar magnetic headphone whose nanometre-thin diaphragm builds on the Susvara design. It offers very low distortion, fast transient response and a wealth of detail. Response extends from 5 Hz to 55 kHz.
The Stealth magnets let the sound wave through without affecting its integrity, and the ear cup grille limits reflections. The asymmetric ear cups follow the shape of the ear, and the headband spreads the 419 g of the headphones. The 3 m cable ends in a 3.5 mm jack, with a 6.3 mm adapter and a carry bag supplied.
With 94 dB sensitivity and 14 ohms, the Ananda Nano is not limited to a hi-fi system. It also works with most smartphones and portable players. Its 3.5 mm sockets on the ear cups are particularly sturdy.
The asymmetric ear pads can be replaced when needed. The light, sturdy headband keeps the headphones comfortable to wear. The headphones come in a matte black finish.
