Retuned 40 mm dynamic driver

This second generation of the 99 Classics features a 40 mm dynamic driver that has been retuned to a more neutral profile: the bass remains present but is more controlled, leaving more room for the mids and highs. Impedance of 16 ohms, sensitivity of 103 dB SPL/mW at 1 kHz, and total harmonic distortion of less than 0.1% from 15 Hz to 25 kHz.

Walnut housings and gold-plated hardware

The housings are crafted from walnut, whose grain makes each pair unique, with hardware made of cast zinc alloy that has been electroplated in a matte gold finish. The internal volume of the housings has been increased compared to the first generation to better control low frequencies.
