The Meze Audio 99 Silver Plated Upgrade Cable is a silver-plated copper headphone cable terminated in a gold-plated balanced 2.5 mm jack. It replaces the original cord of Meze headphones with dual 3.5 mm inputs.

Upgrade cable

This cable replaces the original cord of Meze Audio headphones fitted with two 3.5 mm jack inputs. It is compatible with the 99 Neo, 99 Classics, 99 Classics 2nd Gen, 105 AER, 105 Silva, 109 Pro, Strada, Liric and Poet. According to Meze Audio, it brings more space, detail and transparency.

Two 3.5 mm TS plugs

At the headphone end, the cable splits into two 3.5 mm TS jack plugs, one for each ear cup. At the source end, it terminates in a gold-plated balanced 2.5 mm jack, for players and amplifiers fitted with a balanced 2.5 mm output.

Braided silver-plated copper

The conductors are custom silver-plated copper wires, assembled in a continuous braid that goes from 8 to 4 conductors. The cable is 1.2 m long.

Champagne-coloured metal splitter on the silver braid

Metal Y-splitter

A metal splitter bearing the Meze Audio logo separates the two leads that run to the ear cups. On either side, the silver-plated copper braid runs all the way to the plugs.
