The HE-R10D Wireless houses its drivers in solid wood earcups that give the sound scale and space. The closed design shuts out the outside world for undisturbed listening. That makes it as suited to noisy rooms as to late-night sessions.
Each earcup holds a 50 mm dynamic driver whose diaphragm has a nanoparticle coating. The treatment aims for a natural, detailed sound. Response runs from 15 Hz to 35 kHz, with 60 Ω impedance and 103 dB sensitivity.
The supplied Bluemini module clips onto the left earcup and makes the headphones wireless. It runs on Bluetooth 5.0 and supports the LDAC, aptX HD, aptX, AAC and SBC codecs. A smartphone or a laptop is then all the source you need.
Without the module, the headphones connect with the supplied 1.5 m cable and its 3.5 mm plug. They then plug into a portable player or a hi-fi system, with no battery to charge. The headphones weigh 360 g.
