Original-spec replacement ear pad pair for the Audeze LCD-1 headphone, in memory foam.
These ear pads are the replacement part designed for the LCD-1, sold as a pair. They replace the original pads exactly once worn out, without needing to change headphones to regain proper fit around the ear.
As on the original headphone, the pad is filled with memory foam. This foam follows the contour of the ear and spreads pressure over the whole contact surface. It was designed by Audeze for long listening sessions.
The LCD-1 is an open-back circumaural headphone, and this pad keeps the same geometry as the original part. A deformed or flattened pad closes off the earcup and alters the fit around the ear: replacing it restores the seating the headphone was tuned for.
This reference includes both ear pads needed to equip the headphone, one for each earcup. Replacing both together avoids a comfort gap between a worn earcup and a new one. The set comprises 2 pieces, making 1 complete pair.
