Audeze's Premium Combo cable fits every headphone in the LCD range. It ends in a 4-pin XLR plug with two mini-XLR connectors on the earcup side, and includes a 4-pin XLR to 6.35 mm jack adapter to connect directly to a headphone amp or a 6.3 mm output.
The 4-pin XLR plug provides fully balanced wiring end to end, while the two mini-XLR connectors attach separately to each earcup of the LCD headphone. The supplied adapter lets you switch tool-free from an XLR output to a standard 6.35 mm jack.
The shielded, highly flexible four-conductor cable combines fine silver-plated OCC copper wires with cryogenic treatment. This construction limits resistance and signal loss, for a stable transmission between the source and the headphone.
The non-microphonic sleeve dampens rubbing noise while listening and withstands a dielectric strength of 1000 V. The cable measures 2.5 metres for stationary use, with a total weight of 110 grams.
