The Node plays files up to 192 kHz and supports DSD. MQA decoding is built in. The analogue output feeds an amplifier, the digital output an external converter.
The headphone stage is built on THX AAA technology. It drives a headphone straight from the streamer, with no unit in between. The output coexists with the line outputs.
The Node is ready for Dirac Live room correction. The licence and measurement microphone are ordered separately. The processing corrects the room response rather than the speakers.
The chassis measures 22 cm wide, 4.6 cm high and 14.6 cm deep, for 1.09 kg. The black finish disappears into a dark cabinet. The same model exists in white.
