The Home Amp delivers 2 x 100 W into 8 ohms from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, and 2 x 125 W into 4 ohms. It accepts speakers from 4 to 16 ohms on four-way binding posts. The channels can be configured for stereo or dual mono.
An HDMI eARC socket and an optical input connect the TV, with Dolby Digital Plus and LPCM decoding. Five sound modes are available: stereo, direct, virtual, Denon Dialog Enhancer and night. An RCA input also accepts an analogue source.
A mono RCA output drives an active subwoofer. The low-pass filter adjusts from 40 to 120 Hz and the high-pass from 40 to 250 Hz, relieving the main speakers of the deepest bass. The equaliser adjusts bass and treble from -5 to +5 dB, and the balance control covers ±15 dB.
The HEOS platform plays Spotify, TIDAL, Deezer, Amazon Music or TuneIn, plus files up to 24-bit/192 kHz and DSD 5.6 MHz from a NAS or USB stick. AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect and Bluetooth 4.2 join dual-band Wi-Fi and Ethernet. The 3.5 mm IR input, IR learning and compatibility with Crestron, Control4 and AMX integrate it into a controlled installation. The unit measures 217 × 234 × 86.2 mm and weighs 2 kg.
