The ATRON brings the lines of the MEISTERSTÜCK and the AVATON to the smallest all-in-one format of the new sonoro generation. Its front appears to float in front of a fabric covering, offered in three finishes: Anthracite / Black, Pearl Gray / Silver and Sand / Cream. The cabinet measures about 148 x 204 x 120 mm (W x H x D) and weighs 1.5 kg.
Against a wall, in a corner or standing free, an audio system never sounds quite the same. The ATRON's placement EQ compensates for the effect of nearby surfaces, and the first-time setup assistant walks through the adjustment step by step. The system therefore fits on a kitchen worktop, a shelf or a corner sideboard.
Two 1.5-inch mid/high drivers fire upwards, and an acoustic lens spreads their sound across the room. Digital dispersion correction works over the whole frequency range, while 3D Sound processing widens the stage beyond the cabinet. Two side-mounted 3-inch woofers and a 4-inch passive radiator handle the bass, continuously adjusted to the volume by dynamic bass management.
Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Deezer and Apple AirPlay run over 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi or the LAN port, alongside FM, DAB+ and internet radio. The 4-inch colour display, the remote control and the sonoro audio app give access to all sources and 99 favourites. sonoro multiroom over wired Audio-over-IP and Auracast will be complete after a later software update; smart home integration covers Busch-Jaeger and the KNX systems from Gira and Jung.
