Sold without speakers, the RCD-N12 DAB pairs with the speakers of your choice. Its stereo amplifier delivers 2 × 65 W into 4 ohms through screw binding posts. A preamp output and a subwoofer output leave room for a more powerful amplifier or an active subwoofer.
Over Wi-Fi or Ethernet, it streams Spotify Connect, TIDAL, Deezer, Amazon Music and TuneIn radio. AirPlay 2 and HEOS place it in a multiroom system. The three Quick Select buttons recall a stored source at a single press.
The HDMI ARC input takes the TV sound, and the HDMI cable is supplied. Bluetooth works both ways: it receives from a phone and transmits to wireless headphones. A wired headphone output completes the front panel.
The CD tray also plays MP3 and WMA discs, and the MM phono input takes a turntable without an external phono stage. The tuner receives DAB+ and FM with RDS. The three-line OLED display sits in a 280 mm wide enclosure, in black or white.
