Cantilever in boron

The cantilever is made of boron, material at the same time very rigid and very light. Associated with the diamond, it transmits the movement of the furrow with a minimum of clean deformation. The resulting follow-up accuracy limits vinyl wear such as the tip.

Ultra micro-elliptical diamond

The diamond adopts an ultra micro-elliptical size of 5 × 150 μm, the finest Gold Note range. It reaches the information engraved closer to the center of the disc, where the linear speed is the lowest. The recommended support force is 2 g.

The body is machined in a block full of Duralumin 7000, alloy chosen for its rigidity and damping of vibrations. The cell weighs 10 g. Each copy is assembled by hand.

The output of 0.35 mV and the 8 Ω impedance were calculated to match a wide range of phono preamps. The recommended charge is 100 Ω. The response extends from 10 to 40,000 Hz with a separation of the channels greater than 30 dB.
