The 23 mm tray is machined in a high density pom, a material chosen for its internal damping. The axis and the 60 mm bearing are finely rectified to release the dynamics. The 5 mm chromed steel bearing ball ensures frictionless rotation.
The 30 mm base was sized to reduce the vibrations transmitted to the arm. It comes in four finishes: black lacquer, transparent acrylic, silver leaf and Italian walnut. The black tray versions leave room for an opalin white tray on the acrylic finish.
Despite its convention, the valor 425 plus hosts a standard 9-inch arm. It comes with the B-5 Gold Note arm and a removable transparent acrylic hood. The B-5.1 arm and PST-1 or PST-10 external power supplies are proposed in evolution.
The high torque 12V synchronous motor is electronically controlled, which stabilizes the rotation and spreads the vibrations. Speeds 33⅓ and 45 turns select the button, with a setting at the end of ± 0.1%. Clearing falls 0.2% for a background noise of -75 dB.
