The Deva Pro is an open-back headphone with Stealth Magnet planar drivers, designed to remove resonances more effectively than a conventional driver. Bass stays full and well controlled, treble fine and textured. The open design gives an airy stage where every instrument is easy to place.
The supplied Bluemini R2R module clips onto the left ear cup and makes the headphones wireless. It receives Bluetooth 5.0 through a Qualcomm QCC5124 chip and handles the LDAC, aptX, aptX HD, AAC and SBC codecs. Battery life reaches 8 hours, and its button handles pairing, playback and calls through the built-in microphone.
When wired, the Deva Pro connects with the 1.2 m cable ending in a 3.5 mm jack, and a 6.35 mm adapter is supplied. With 18 ohms and 93.5 dB sensitivity, it works with portable devices as well as home systems. The Bluemini module also connects to a computer over USB-C, and its Hifiman Himalaya DAC then takes over.
The adjustable headband spreads the weight of the headphones, which weigh 360 g. The thick, soft ear pads stay comfortable through long listening sessions. A 2 m USB-C to USB-A cable and a user manual complete the package.
