Each earpiece carries a 10 millimetre carbon-based diaphragm. The inner and outer magnetic circuits are deliberately asymmetric, to balance the field. A C-shaped acoustic duct cuts resonance.
Impedance settles at 24 ohms at 1 kHz for a sensitivity of 111 dB per milliwatt, a high figure that is content with a phone. The passband runs from 20 Hz to 40 kHz. Each earpiece weighs about 10 grams without the cable.
The body is die-cast in zinc alloy, a dense material that damps stray vibration. Its shape follows the contour of the concha. The earphones are Hi-Res Audio certified.
The cable gathers four bundles of 120 oxygen-free copper strands each, over about 1.2 metres. It detaches on 0.78 millimetre two-pin connectors and ends in a 3.5 mm plug. An in-line remote with microphone takes and ends calls, and three pairs of tips come with the set.
