The front chamber of the Svanar is made of brass, a dense metal chosen for its resonance behaviour. The rear chamber, in aluminium alloy, completes this pairing of materials. The idea came from a theatre visit by the Hifiman team for a Swan Lake ballet.
The 9.2 mm dynamic driver uses a Topology diaphragm, coated with nanoparticles in a geometric pattern. This coating shapes the waveform for controlled sound. Frequency response spans 5 Hz to 35 kHz, with 60 ohms impedance and 100 dB sensitivity.
