This bundle brings together the MOON ACE all-in-one amplifier and a pair of MOON Voice 22 speakers. All that is missing is the speaker cables and an internet connection. Both units come out of the same workshops, in Boucherville.
The ACE brings amplification, network playback and digital-to-analogue conversion together in a single chassis. It accepts eight digital sources, from USB to aptX Bluetooth by way of Wi-Fi and Ethernet, and carries a moving-magnet phono input as well as a headphone output. The MiND 2 module makes it compatible with AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect and Roon.
The Voice 22 is a two-way bookshelf speaker. Its 29 mm textile dome tweeter sits in a custom-drawn waveguide, which lowers the crossover frequency to 1.5 kHz. The 155 mm bass driver combines a cast aluminium basket with a mineral-filled polypropylene cone. Sensitivity reaches 89 dB for a nominal impedance of 6 ohms.
The ACE comes here in black and silver, the Voice 22 in black. The Hover base lifts each speaker and makes it appear to float above the furniture, while steadying it. The front grille is magnetic and comes off without tools.
