The MZ3SE driver, custom-designed by Rinaro, uses a 0.11 g Parus diaphragm made from an ultra-thin polymer film stretched in two directions. This process gives it strength, stiffness and stability with a very low acoustic mass. It covers 3 Hz to 112 kHz with harmonic distortion below 0.05% across the audible range.
Rinaro's Isomagnetic attachment uses the driver's field to hold each ear pad in place while redirecting that field back into the driver. Two pairs are supplied: the Angled Alcantara pads, with their slanted interior, give an airier sound and cleaner bass, and the Hybrid pads pair a perforated Alcantara interior with a leather exterior.
The suspension wings are elongated and curved at both ends, reaching further down the sides of the head. They spread the 433 g of the headphones evenly. At 101 dB SPL/mW and 32 ohms, they work with almost any source without a dedicated amplifier.
Every part of the frame receives a Cerakote coating that gives it a mineral texture in a tungsten colour. This coating, used in the automotive and aerospace industries, is very hard and UV-resistant without adding weight to the chassis. Every part of the headphones can be taken apart and serviced, from the ear pads to the frame.
