The Strada is a closed-back headphone with a dynamic driver, designed for tonal balance and musical intimacy. The bass is tight with a slight emphasis, the midrange stays neutral and transparent, and the treble extends with finesse. Its isolation and natural sense of space make it a companion at home as well as on the move.
Derived from the 109 Pro, the 50 mm dynamic driver combines a W-shaped dome in carbon fibre-reinforced cellulose composite with a beryllium-coated polymer torus. A copper-zinc alloy stabiliser absorbs vibrations around the membrane to limit distortion. With 40 Ω and 111 dB SPL/mW, the headphone is easy to drive.
The magnesium frame is hand-painted in a deep green with metallic particles, at Meze Audio's headquarters in Baia Mare. The ear cups are dressed in Macassar ebony, and the chassis is based on the Liric. Design, assembly and quality control are all carried out on site.
The memory foam ear pads attach magnetically; their PU leather surface ensures the seal, and their Alcantara-lined chamber limits heat and moisture. The adjustment rods slide without clicks to fine-tune the fit. Two 1.8 m fabric cables, in 3.5 mm and 4.4 mm, are included.
