The amplification stage routes the signal through a fully balanced, four-channel THX AAA 78+ stage (eight operational amplifiers in parallel), delivering up to 650 mW + 650 mW into 32 ohms in desktop mode—a 203% increase over the BTR7.

Desktop Mode, Display, and Finishes

A D.Mode selector and a dedicated power port allow the BTR17 to be powered by an external source without draining the phone’s battery. A PC/BT/PHONE selector adapts the power supply to the connected device. The XMOS XU316 USB decoder supports up to 768 kHz/32-bit, native DSD512, and full MQA. A 1.3-inch IPS color display, a pressable volume wheel, and a leather-wrapped aluminum chassis round out the package. Available in black and blue.
