The case measures 24.5 cm wide, 26.5 cm deep and 9.5 cm high, and weighs 7 kg. Its Class AB amplifier delivers 40 W per channel into 8 Ω. An RCA output for a subwoofer or preamplifier lets the system grow.
The 5-inch colour LCD display, four buttons and the volume dial with proximity sensor make up the interface. The front panel also houses a 3.5 mm headphone socket and a USB port. The bi-directional Zigbee remote and the Focal & Naim app, on iOS and Android, control the unit from across the room.
An HDMI socket links the TV to improve the sound of films and series. Two optical TOSLINK inputs accept up to 24-bit/96 kHz, the coaxial RCA input up to 24-bit/192 kHz with DoP 64 Fs, and a stereo RCA pair takes an analogue source. Networking runs over 10/100 Ethernet or 802.11ac Wi-Fi.
AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL, Qobuz, Roon Ready, UPnP, internet radio and Bluetooth are built in. WAV files play up to 32-bit/384 kHz and DSD at 64 and 128 Fs. Party Mode syncs up to six Naim streamers around the home.
