The 371 gathers an amplifier, a network player and a digital-to-analogue converter in a single chassis. It delivers 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 200 watts per channel into 4 ohms. The damping factor of 425 keeps the bass in hand.
The amplification takes over the MDCA architecture developed for the North Collection. The MOON Hybrid Power supply feeds the sensitive stages with a stable, quiet current. Total harmonic distortion plus noise falls to 0.003 % at 100 watts.
A built-in phono preamplifier accepts moving-magnet as well as moving-coil cartridges. A turntable therefore connects without extra electronics. The MiND 2 platform handles network playback and the online music services.
A large colour display shows the source and the current level. The MOONLink connection ties the unit to the other MOON components in the system. The unit ships with the CRM-4 remote control.
