A five-channel active amplifier, in discrete Class AB, delivers 180 W in total. It drives two 28 mm silk dome tweeters, two 100 mm NS+ mid-bass drivers and a 200 mm long-throw subwoofer. The subwoofer works in an infinite baffle arrangement, beneath two bass-reflex compartments. Typical in-room frequency response extends from 30 Hz to 22 kHz, with bass, treble and subwoofer adjustable from -6 dB to +6 dB.
Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect and Qobuz Connect are built into the radiogram. Radio covers internet, DAB/DAB+ and FM with RDS. Wi-Fi 802.11ax and 10/100 Mbps Ethernet connect the unit to the network, and both AirPlay and Google Cast handle multiroom. A 32-bit/192 kHz Burr-Brown converter decodes FLAC, AIFF, ALAC and WAV files up to 32-bit/192 kHz.
The HDMI input accepts ARC and eARC, for TV sound. The MM phono input has adjustable gain from 2 to 7 mV, the RCA line input takes up to 2.3 Vrms and the optical input plays up to 24-bit/96 kHz PCM. Bluetooth 5.1 supports aptX HD, SBC and AAC, and also works with Bluetooth headphones. The USB-C port reads drives formatted in FAT, exFAT, NTFS or ext4, and the optional R-CD100 player adds CD playback.
