Each satellite fits in an 8 cm diameter sphere and houses a patented full-range driver, the Dom55. Its diaphragm is 50 micrometres thick; together with the neodymium motor and its DSP processing, it aims for faithful timbre and an even response. An amplifier rated at 300 W RMS, 600 W peak, drives each satellite.
The connected subwoofer, a 22 cm diameter sphere, houses a 17 cm HELD woofer driven by 450 W RMS, 900 W peak. With the two satellites, total power reaches 1050 W RMS. The system covers 30 to 23,000 Hz and reaches 115 dB peak.
DEAP processing matches each driver to its amplifier. DFE analyses the audio stream in real time, its dynamics and volume, to keep the depth of the recording at low level as at full volume. A built-in microphone measures the room, and CRCS automatic calibration adapts the response to its acoustics.
The Pearl Keshi connects over Ethernet, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth and takes a source through S/PDIF optical, micro USB or a 3.5 mm jack. It plays files from MP3 to FLAC, ALAC and DSD 64/128, joins the StreamCONTROL multiroom and gives access to Qobuz, Tidal, Spotify, Deezer and web radio. A programmable Bluetooth controller is supplied, and the satellite stands offer 5 positions for flat or wall placement.
