The NEO Stream 3 adopts the award-winning DAC stage from the NEO iDSD 2, built around a Burr-Brown chip. Its architecture routes PCM and DSD through separate paths and preserves a bit-perfect signal through to analog conversion. The stage is heavily customized to exceed standard sampling frequencies.

The latest-generation network engine supports PCM 768 kHz and DSD512, with native Qobuz Connect, Tidal Connect, Spotify Connect, Roon and AirPlay. DLNA, NAS and USB drive support also covers local libraries, keeping every track within reach.

JVCKENWOOD's K2HD technology restores harmonic content lost during encoding and upsamples tracks below 192 kHz. The included OptiBox adds optical galvanic isolation to keep network noise at bay, while ELNA Silmic II capacitors and a femto-precision clock care for power supply and jitter.

Analog outputs are provided in 4.4 mm balanced and RCA, digital outputs in USB-A, S/PDIF optical and coaxial, AES/EBU and I2S. An IoT chip links the NEO Stream 3 to WiFi via the iFi Nexis application, which serves as remote control and manages settings, storage and updates. An ultra-low-noise iPower X supply is included.
