What separates the Nero from the Bianco is not colour. Here the chassis stacks two layers of black acrylic around a layer of solid aluminium. Transrotor reports better stability and quieter running overall, and the three-kilo difference between the two models comes from that.
The ten-kilo platter rests on that three-layer base. Acrylic and aluminium do not share natural resonances, so no frequency finds a clear path through the stack. The record clamp is machined from solid aluminium.
The drive is the Free Magnet Drive, with no contact between motor and platter. The Konstant FMD supply, developed for this system, ships with the deck. Up to three arms can be fitted on the continuously adjustable base.
47 cm wide, 42 deep, 22 high, 38 kg. Those are the Bianco's dimensions for three kilos more, all of it in the chassis aluminium layer. A dedicated stand is offered as an option; the deck arrives without arm or cartridge, fitted and aligned at our Geneva workshop.
