FiiO FP3 magnetostatic in-ear earphones, with a 14.5 mm planar driver and a solid wood faceplate. Each earphone weighs about 6.5 g, cable excluded.

Each earphone has a solid wood faceplate, in rosewood or black walnut depending on the finish. The front shell is 3D-printed, hand-polished and then protected by a UV varnish. Its shape is inspired by a small wooden bowl.
The 14.5 mm driver is second-generation, designed entirely by FiiO. Its PET diaphragm is 1 µm thick and receives two coatings, first aluminium, then titanium. The aluminium improves track conductivity and lowers impedance, while the titanium stiffens the diaphragm and improves treble resolution.
Each earphone weighs about 6.5 g, cable excluded. Its shape reduces the contact area with the ear and limits pressure on the lobe. A rest in the concha holds the earphone in place, and the cable loops around the ear.
Fourteen N52 neodymium magnets, seven on each side of the driver, balance the forces on the diaphragm and reduce distortion. A patented channel structure known as a Tesla valve deepens the bass while keeping its texture. The frequency response spans 10 Hz to 40 kHz, with a sensitivity of 105 dB/mW.
