Twelve outputs cover a 7.1.4, a 5.4.2 or a 7.4 layout with four subwoofers. The AltitudeCI 12 decodes Dolby Atmos, DTS:X Pro, Auro-3D and IMAX Enhanced in full, then assigns each channel to the chosen speaker. For stereo or 5.1 sources, Dolby Surround, DTS Neural:X and Auro-Matic spread the sound across all twelve channels.
Paired with an Amplitude16 fitted with its Dante input card, the AltitudeCI 12 forms an all-digital system. No analogue conversion sits between processor and amplifier. DirectLink simplifies the Dante link between the two units, over the processor's Gigabit ports.
Calibration follows a guided, step-by-step process. The 3D measurement microphone connects via Ethercon, which also powers it, and its compensation file loads automatically. Optimizer, WaveForming and Remapping then run at full resolution across all twelve channels. Presets from an Altitude16 or Altitude32 cannot be carried over: the room has to be measured again.
Drivers are available for Crestron, Control4, Savant, RTI, AMX, Nice and AVA. RS-232, an IR input with supplied receiver, one trigger input and four programmable trigger outputs link the processor to the rest of the rack. The installer can work remotely via my.trinnov.audio, and the user controls the unit from the iOS or Android app.
