The Home 150 NV keeps the sound quality of the Denon Home 150, without a microphone or voice assistant. Nothing is listening in the room: the speaker is controlled through the HEOS app, its buttons or AirPlay 2. Three preset buttons recall favourite sources without reaching for the phone.
A 25 mm tweeter and an 89 mm woofer each get their own Class D amplifier. Bass and treble controls adjust the sound to the placement. The speaker also plays high-resolution files.
The Home 150 NV is Roon Ready and joins an existing Roon setup. An RJ-45 socket connects it to a wired network, in addition to dual-band 2.4 and 5 GHz Wi-Fi. Bluetooth, a USB port for stored music and a 3.5 mm input round off the connections.
The cabinet, with a 120 × 120 mm base and a height of 187 mm, weighs 1.7 kg. Two units form a stereo pair, and the speaker serves as a surround rear for the Denon Home Sound Bar 550 or teams up with a HEOS subwoofer. It comes in black and in white.
