The Denon Home 600 reproduces Dolby Atmos Music mixes through two 66 mm up-firing drivers aimed at the ceiling. The reflected sound adds a vertical layer above the stereo image, with no extra speaker needed. Two dedicated settings, height and width, adjust the effect to suit the room.
Each driver has its own Class D amplifier, giving eight channels of amplification in a single cabinet. Two 165 mm woofers handle the bass, two 66 mm midrange drivers carry the voices and two 19 mm tweeters take care of the treble. Bass and treble controls adjust the tonal balance to the placement.
The Wi-Fi module covers the 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz bands to the 802.11ax standard. AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth complement HEOS streaming, and the USB-C port accepts a music stick or an Ethernet adapter. A 3.5 mm auxiliary input remains available for an analogue source, and high-resolution files are supported.
Two Home 600 units pair in stereo, and a Denon Home Subwoofer adds deeper bass over Wi-Fi. The speaker also works as a wireless surround rear for the Denon Home Sound Bar 550. Three preset buttons recall favourite sources, and the built-in microphone switches off at the press of a button. The 451 × 251 × 226 mm cabinet weighs 8 kg and comes in Charcoal and Stone finishes.
