TheOrtofon 2m red back is the version mounted in the opposite direction of the 2M Red, designed for the reverse headshell turntables (Undermount). It keeps all the musical qualities of the 2M Red with an elliptical stylus and a reading force of 1.8 g.
TheOrtofon 2M Red Verso reproduces identically the performance of the famous 2M Red, but in an inverted mounting configuration (verso / undermount). Ideal for platinum Technics, Stanton or any other turntable equipped with an inverted headshell arm, it delivers a warm, musical and detailed sound.
Specifically designed for platinies whose hEADShell is downwards (Bottom-Mount), the 2M Red Verso provides access to performance Ortofon 2m on platinies not compatible with standard mounting.
The elliptical tip (front-end radius 8 μm, lateral radius 18 μm) Finely extracts the information burn in the groove, with reduced distortion and a reproduction of the high frequencies faithful.
The recommended reading force of 1.8 g offers an excellent balance between monitoring of the groove and minimal vinyl wear, according to standards Ortofon.
The high output level (5.5 mV) is compatible with all standard phono mm preamplifiers, without the need for additional amplification.
