The MM-520 is an open-back magnetostatic headphone developed by Audeze in collaboration with Manny Marroquin, a multi-Grammy-Award-winning sound engineer. It is designed for critical studio monitoring as well as audiophile listening.
The MM-520 features Audeze's SLAM technology, which deepens and clarifies low-frequency reproduction without compromising midrange precision. Paired with a 90 mm planar driver with an ultra-thin Uniforce diaphragm, it delivers deep, controlled bass, transparent mids and finely resolved highs.
The Fluxor magnetic structure, developed by Audeze, applies a powerful, uniform magnetic field across the entire diaphragm, increasing driver efficiency and power handling. With an impedance of 18 ohms and a bandwidth of 5 Hz to 50 kHz, the MM-520 reproduces every nuance of a recording.
The memory-foam earpads, held by magnets for easy replacement, and the adjustable headband provide a stable fit even during long listening or mixing sessions. The MM-520 ships with a 2.5-meter braided cable terminated in a 6.35 mm jack, a 3.5 mm adapter and a hard carrying case.
