The FiiO FA19 is a high-end wired in-ear headphone featuring an all-balanced-armature design: ten Knowles drivers per ear, the result of a three-year collaboration with Knowles. The configuration combines four custom-tuned bass drivers, two ED midrange drivers, and four SWFK tweeters, delivering energy density and detail reproduction worthy of a reference monitor.

Feedback-Controlled Bass

To deliver deep bass—a rarity in all-driver earphones— FiiO collaborated with Knowles to design reinforced bass drivers, four per channel. The DLP 3D-printed housing channels low-frequency energy toward the rear cavity and lowers its resonance frequency, forming a feedback-based bass amplification system. This venting also improves comfort and the width of the soundstage.

Midrange Filter and Rubycon Crossover

A midrange band-stop filter, positioned below the two ED midrange balanced armature drivers, boosts the level between 1 and 3 kHz, suppresses the peak at 8 kHz, and sets the cutoff point at 3.5 kHz for a clear separation between the midrange and treble. The electronic crossover utilizes audiophile-grade Rubycon film capacitors (0.1% precision), and the patented S.Turbo design refines the bass-to-midrange transition.

Monitor / HiFi Modes and Silver Cable

A Monitor/HiFi switch on the back of the headphones toggles between a neutral, detailed sound—ideal for audio production—and a HiFi sound that boosts the midrange and bass. The ear cups are manufactured using DLP 3D printing with photoresin, achieving a precision of 0.0375 mm. The pure monocrystalline silver cable (8 strands, 224 wires, Litz braiding) features extended MMCX connectors and interchangeable 3.5/4.4 mm jacks. Hi-Res Audio certified.
