The FiiO FH19 is a hybrid wired in-ear headphone featuring two push-pull dynamic drivers and six Knowles balanced armature drivers, a titanium chassis, and a pure silver cable.
The FiiO FH19 is a high-end wired hybrid in-ear headphone and the successor to the FH9. A dual 13.7 mm push-pull dynamic driver with a PU+DLC composite diaphragm, co-developed with Tokyo Onkyo, handles the bass, while six Knowles balanced armature drivers (four with reinforced midrange and two SWFK for the treble) cover the top of the spectrum.
The push-pull dynamic module places two drivers in opposition: as the diaphragms move, their motion stays coherent and in phase, which doubles the driving force and lets the diaphragms damp each other. The result is steadier movement, lower intermodulation distortion and clean, deep, well-controlled bass.
The FH19 uses a four-way acoustic design. A midrange notch filter removes the 8 kHz peak of the midrange armatures, eliminates sibilance and moves the armatures' crossover point forward, giving a truly independent frequency band. Audiophile-grade Rubycon film capacitors (0.1% tolerance) and the patented S.Turbo design refine the sound.
The FH19 pairs a rigid, corrosion-resistant pure titanium chassis with a lightweight, strong aerospace-grade 7000-series aluminium shell. The pressure-balanced semi-open design gives comfortable listening and a wide soundstage. The monocrystalline pure silver cable (8 strands, 224 wires, Litz braid) ends in extended MMCX connectors and interchangeable 3.5 / 4.4 mm plugs. Three audio filters let you adjust the sound signature.
