The FiiO JD1 is a wired in-ear monitor with a 10 mm LCP dynamic driver, a 3.5 mm plug, a detachable 2-pin cable and Hi-Res Audio certification.
The FiiO JD1 is an entry-level wired in-ear monitor, the result of the FiiO x JadeAudio collaboration. It has a 10 mm dynamic driver with a liquid crystal polymer (LCP) diaphragm, both light and rigid, capable of generous bass and detailed treble with low distortion. Asymmetric internal and external magnetic circuits concentrate the magnetic field for a more dynamic sound.
The JD1 uses balanced pressure relief between the front and rear chambers: the driver moves more freely for better bass, while pressure on the eardrum is reduced for more comfortable listening. Its ergonomic triangular shape and weight of just 7 g per earphone make it almost unnoticeable in the ear.
The JD1 faceplate is made of die-cast zinc alloy, then hand-polished, for a refined finish and a premium feel rare at this price. The durable aluminium alloy nozzle delivers every sound wave faithfully to the ear.
The JD1 has a detachable cable with 0.78 mm 2-pin connectors in oxygen-free copper, about 1.2 m long, ending in a gold-plated 3.5 mm plug, which allows upgrading to other cables. Hi-Res Audio certified by the JAS and the CEA, it covers a response from 20 Hz to 40 kHz. Available in obsidian black and in a silver transparent version.
