All five channels are handled by five identical Bowers & Wilkins FPM5. Each pairs a Kevlar cone bass/midrange with a 25 mm Nautilus tube-loaded dome tweeter. Using one model throughout keeps a voice the same colour from one corner of the room to the other.
The PV1 is a sealed subwoofer with a curved shell. Two 200 mm mica-aluminium cone drivers are mounted back to back, so their reaction forces cancel. Its 500 W amplification reaches 18 Hz at minus 6 dB, for 20.5 kg and 33.5 cm in height.
The receiver delivers 125 W per channel into 8 ohms across nine amplified channels. Audyssey MultEQ XT32 measures the room and corrects each speaker's response. Decoding covers Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio.
The bundle gathers five silver FPM5 with their original column stands, a gloss silver PV1, a Silver-Gold SR7008 and the mains cables of the powered units. In 5.1, four amplified channels stay free. Moving to 7.1 or adding a pair of height speakers needs no new hardware.
