A second-generation electrostatic

The CRBN2 takes Audeze's carbon nanotube transducer and refines it for a second generation. The ultra-thin polyimide membrane, threaded with these nanotubes, ensures uniform electrical conductivity across its entire surface, a condition for a coherent electrostatic from bass to treble.

SLAM technology in service of the bass

SLAM (Symmetric Linear Acoustic Modulator) technology regulates air pressure inside the housing to deliver the most powerful bass in Audeze's electrostatic range, without additional distortion. Frequency response spans 10 Hz to 40 kHz, with THD below 0.1% at 90 dB.

580 V Pro Bias, 100 dB sensitivity

Compatible with 580 V Pro Bias electrostatic amplifiers on the market, the CRBN2 offers a sensitivity of 100 dB (1 kHz, 100 V RMS) for a capacitance of 100 pF. It ships with a 2.5-metre monocrystal OCC copper cable and a 5-pin connector.

Magnesium, stainless steel and acetate polymer

The housing combines magnesium, stainless steel and acetate polymer for a lightweight and durable build. Each CRBN2 is hand-assembled and tested in California; the leather earpads and carbon headband ensure comfort during long listening sessions.
