Conversion rests on an ESS ES9027SPRO, preceded by an XU316 USB stage. Amplification falls to four INA1620. The unit accepts up to 768 kHz at 32-bit and native DSD512.
In desktop mode at high gain, the 4.4 mm balanced output delivers 900 milliwatts per channel into 32 ohms and 125 milliwatts into 300 ohms. The 3.5 mm output reaches 310 milliwatts into 32 ohms. Outside desktop mode the same outputs give 605 and 250 milliwatts.
The stated signal-to-noise ratio reaches 124 dB on both outputs, for distortion of 0.0004 % single-ended. Accepted impedances run from 8 to 350 ohms. The 3.5 mm socket doubles as a coaxial output up to 96 kHz.
The 1.99-inch LCD shows 170 x 320 pixels and rotates with orientation. A ten-band dynamic equaliser works over plus or minus 12 dB, with eight presets and custom curves. The shell measures 64.2 x 30.7 x 13 mm, at 33.7 grams in carbon fibre or 39.2 grams in aluminium.
