The Premier 520LCR v2 is dedicated to the left, centre and right channels of a demanding home cinema. Its sealed, portless enclosure lets it sit inside a cabinet or stand free without losing clarity. The cabinet measures 21.1 cm high, 59.4 cm wide and 30.5 cm deep including the grille, and weighs 14.1 kg.
At the centre of the front baffle, a 152 mm coaxial AL-MAG midrange houses the 25 mm AL-MAC ceramic dome tweeter. This midrange uses the patented Dual-Sync Continuous Flux Motor and a 2-inch multi-layer voice coil on an Apical former. The tweeter works with an OSW waveguide and a PPA lens for clear dialogue and precise imaging.
Two 152 mm Carbon-X drivers with one-piece cones handle the bass, with Gen3 Active Ridge Technology and the Vertical Mounting System. The 2nd-order electro-acoustic crossovers sit at 650 Hz and 1.5 kHz. Frequency response runs from 75 Hz to 23 kHz at ±3 dB on axis, with extension down to 50 Hz (DIN). With a room sensitivity of 93 dB, it works with amplifiers from 15 to 120 W that are compatible with 8 ohms.
The Premier 520LCR v2 comes in lacquered Piano Black, Black Walnut, Walnut and Satin White. Within the Premier v2 series, Satin White is only offered on the 520LCR and the 120B. The MDF cabinet is internally braced to stay acoustically inert.
