Arcam Radia series center speaker. Two 130 mm MCC woofers and one 25 mm DCC tweeter with Acoustic Lens, designed for precise vocal reproduction in home‑theater setups.

Two 130 mm Micro Ceramic Composite woofers in symmetric configuration relative to the central tweeter ensure coherent phase response across the horizontal listening axis — critical for a center speaker whose listening axis varies with viewer position in the room. Response extends down to 55 Hz, covering the fundamental of deep male vocals and sound effects without requiring a subwoofer for this range. The rear bass reflex port maintains defined bass without boomy resonance on a low shelf.
The 25 mm Deep Ceramic Composite tweeter is identical to those used in the R35 and R45 — same dome, same Acoustic Lens waveguide. This continuity ensures that consonants and sibilants in the center channel are indistinguishable from the main speakers, which is precisely the role of a well-designed center speaker. The waveguide's horizontal dispersion covers typical screen widths without timbre shifts for listeners seated off-center.
The R35C shares the same driver and crossover architecture as the R35 and R45: 1.8 kHz crossover point, nominal 6 Ω impedance, inverted suspension, and patented basket. This uniformity gives the front stage (left, center, right) a unified timbre that mixed-brand setups rarely achieve without corrective equalization. The ARCAM AVA35 is the recommended partner to activate the R35C-specific AEQ within an all-Radia system.
With dimensions of 595 × 277 × 181 mm and a weight of 12.3 kg, the R35C fits under a 55" TV or on a low shelf without special constraints. A sensitivity of 86 dB at 2.83 V/1 m is consistent with the 85–88 dB of other Radia models, simplifying relative level calibration between channels in an AV processor. Recommended power is 15–200 W, compatible with all Radia AV amplifiers.
