KEF KC92, active subwoofer with two 22.86 cm drivers mounted back to back in a force-cancelling configuration. It reaches down to 11 Hz for a maximum output of 110 dB.

Two 22.86 cm drivers mounted back to back in a force-cancelling configuration: the mechanical vibrations cancel each other out before reaching the cabinet, which stays still while the cones work. The KC92 measures 352.5 × 330 × 360.5 mm for 20 kg, with a maximum output of 110 dB.
Frequency response reaches down to 11 Hz and covers up to 200 Hz, at ±3 dB. The KC92 pairs a sealed cabinet with KEF's iBX technology.
The pleated surround resists the cabinet's internal pressure instead of yielding to it. The cone then only moves under the impulse of the signal, without the parasitic movement a conventional surround lets through as pressure rises. Bass goes lower and the sound keeps its contours.
Two 500 W Class D amplifiers, 1000 W RMS in total, drive the two speakers. The rear panel brings together an RCA line input, a speaker-level input and the extension connector for the KW1 wireless kit, sold separately. The low-pass filter covers 40 to 140 Hz, with an LFE mode included.
