KEF LSX II compact speakers beneath a living-room television

Compact connected stereo

The LSX II fits into 240 × 155 × 180 mm per speaker, for 7.2 kg for the system. Each cabinet carries 70 W of bass-midrange and 30 W of treble, in class D. The pair replaces a full system on a shelf, a desk or a TV cabinet.

Uni-Q point source

The 19 mm tweeter occupies the centre of the 115 mm magnesium-aluminium alloy cone. This single source spreads the sound evenly through the room. Response covers 54 Hz – 28 kHz (±3 dB), with a maximum level of 102 dB.

HDMI ARC and USB-C

The HDMI ARC port brings back the sound of the television, USB-C that of the computer, optical and RCA the rest of the sources. Over the network, resolution rises to 24 bit/384 kHz. An RCA output drives a subwoofer in rooms that are hungry for bass.

Multiroom and streaming services

AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Roon Ready and Bluetooth 5.0 share the wireless side. Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz, Deezer and Amazon Music run natively. Dual-band 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi holds the link; RJ45 Ethernet secures it.
