Second-generation Purifi Eigentakt modules deliver over 200 W per channel into 8 ohms and over 380 W into 4 ohms, with distortion below 0.003 % from 1 to 200 W. The M33 V2 therefore keeps control over a wide range of speakers while preserving the nuances of dynamics and phrasing. In bridged mode it provides over 700 W into 8 ohms.
Conversion relies on a 32-bit/384 kHz ESS Sabre ES9039PRO DAC and on FOQUS and QRONO technologies from MQA Labs, which reduce timing errors during analogue-to-digital and digital-to-analogue conversion. Our hearing picks up very small timing differences: by limiting them, the M33 V2 keeps the natural alignment of instruments and makes recordings sound more cohesive. The MM/MC phono stage takes a turntable directly.
BluOS provides high-resolution multi-room streaming, controlled from the BluOS Controller app, with AirPlay 2, Roon, two-way aptX HD Bluetooth and an HDMI eARC input for the TV. AES/EBU, coaxial, optical and USB digital inputs complement the XLR, RCA and phono inputs. Two MDC slots let you add modules as technology evolves, and the 7-inch touchscreen gives direct access to playback and settings.
Dirac Live Room Correction calibrates the M33 V2 to your room and corrects the effects of the acoustics on bass, clarity and tonal balance. Instruments and voices keep their position and character from one listening situation to another. Dirac Live Bass Control, available as an option, handles the integration of subwoofers.
