Power and Control

The Evo 300 delivers 2 x 300 W into 8 ohms and 2 x 550 W into 4 ohms thanks to Hypex NCOREx Class-D amplification. This power reserve allows it to maintain control over demanding speakers, even during the most intense passages. Maximum power consumption reaches 1,200 W, while the eco-friendly standby mode drops below 0.5 W.

Dual-Mono Architecture

The signal follows a dual-mono architecture combined with a balanced preamplifier and a dedicated analog volume control. The ESS Sabre ES9038Q2M DAC supports PCM files up to 32-bit/768 kHz as well as DSD512 via the Class 2 USB input. The frequency response ranges from 20 Hz to 20 kHz (+0/-3 dB).

The StreamMagic Gen 4 platform provides access to Spotify Connect, TIDAL, Qobuz, Deezer, Amazon Music, and Internet radio, with Roon Ready, AirPlay 2, and Chromecast compatibility. In terms of physical inputs, the device features two RCA jacks, a balanced XLR input, a moving-magnet phono preamp, an HDMI eARC port for the TV, an optical connection, a coaxial connection, and a USB audio input. Bluetooth 5.4 supports audio streams up to aptX HD.

Customizable Finishes

The 7.8-inch screen displays album art and level meters, while the interchangeable side panels are available in real wood or a technical finish. Output connections include two pairs of speakers that can be switched via the app, a 6.35 mm headphone output, a preamp output, and a subwoofer output—whose crossover, level, and phase can be adjusted via StreamMagic. The unit measures 387 x 89 x 352 mm and weighs 7.2 kg.
