Built-in Wi-Fi streaming

The SA2 builds on the SA1 and adds Wi-Fi streaming, with Apple AirPlay 2, Google Cast, lossless Spotify Connect and DTS Play-Fi. AirPlay 2, Google Cast and DTS Play-Fi also allow multiroom listening with other compatible devices. Bluetooth 4.2 is still on hand, with the SBC and AAC codecs.

HDMI ARC TV connection

Connected over HDMI ARC, the SA2 switches on together with the television and is controlled with its remote. An optical input and an analogue RCA input take the other sources. An RCA pre-out completes the connections.

MM phono input

A turntable with an MM cartridge connects directly, with no external phono preamp. The amplifier powers up by itself on every input except phono and selects the active input. The remote control, its batteries and the power cable are supplied; speaker cables are sold separately.

Class D and Sabre DAC

The Class D stage delivers 2 x 100 W into 4 ohms and 2 x 50 W into 8 ohms, with 0.0045% distortion (THD+N). The 32-bit ESS Sabre converter goes up to 24-bit / 192 kHz, in a fully balanced signal path up to the speaker terminals. The case measures 25.2 cm wide, 22 cm deep and 6.3 cm high.
