The Marantz Model 60n is a connected integrated amplifier delivering 60 W per channel into 8 ohms in Class A/B, with HEOS streaming built in. It adds an MM phono input, HDMI ARC for the TV and a subwoofer output.

The Model 60n delivers 60 W per channel into 8 ohms and 80 W into 4 ohms, in Class A/B. The signal runs through Marantz's HDAM SA3 and SA2 modules, arranged in a current-feedback topology. A toroidal transformer and a Linear Drive power supply feed the power stage, which is cooled by an extruded aluminium heatsink. Frequency response extends from 5 Hz to 100 kHz, with harmonic distortion of 0.02 %.
HEOS Built-in gives access to Tidal, Deezer, Amazon Music HD or TuneIn from the HEOS app for iOS and Android. AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Roon Ready and Bluetooth complete the list, over Wi-Fi or Ethernet. The converter plays PCM up to 192 kHz / 24-bit and DSD up to 11.2 MHz, in FLAC, ALAC, WAV or DSF, with no gap between tracks. Other HEOS devices in the home can be controlled room by room from the same app.
A turntable connects directly to the MM phono input, with a sensitivity of 1.9 mV at 47 kohms. For the TV, the HDMI ARC socket routes film and game sound through the amplifier and the system's speakers. Three digital inputs, coaxial, optical and USB-A, take the other sources, such as a CD player. A preamp output, a mono subwoofer output and a headphone output round off the connections.
The front panel is metal, with a low-noise monochrome OLED display. Two finishes are available, Black and Silver Gold, on a chassis 442 mm wide, 431 mm deep and 129 mm high. The RC006PM remote control operates the unit, and the D-Bus link connects it to other Marantz components. In standby, power consumption drops to 0.3 W, and auto power-off switches the unit off when it is left unused.
