Streamer, DAC and amplifier

The RS520 puts a network player, an ESS ES9038PRO converter and a 250 W per channel amplifier into one case, rated into 8 and 4 ohms. Its Class AD power stage uses GaN transistors, which HiFi ROSE chose to cut switching dead time by a third. The converter handles PCM up to 768 kHz at 32 bits and native DSD512. The 12.6-inch touch screen on the front of the aluminium case controls Roon Ready, Spotify Connect, TIDAL, Qobuz and file playback from an SSD.
