The 4.5-inch transducer alone covers the useful band from 80 Hz to 16 kHz at -3 dB. It reaches 15 Hz lower than the 2.25-inch model and handles 50 W AES at 8 Ω instead of 20 W at 16 Ω. The gain shows most on male voice.
Like the 2.25-inch, this speaker meets EN 54-24 and can carry public-building evacuation messages. Maximum level reaches 111 dB, enough to cover a reception hall or platform where the 2.25-inch runs short of headroom.
Dispersion measures 130° horizontal and 125° vertical. The cabinet stands 27.7 cm tall, 17.1 cm wide, 17.4 cm deep, and weighs 3.08 kg with its supplied bracket.
Four transformer taps—5, 10, 20, and 40 W—meter power on the 100 V line, with an 8 Ω bypass for low-impedance wiring. The cabinet is rated IP55, which clears covered outdoor use and humid interiors.
