Coaxial two-way 8 inches

The 8-inch woofer and 1-inch tweeter are coaxial. This is the largest surface-mount speaker in the range: 150 W AES continuous at 8 Ω and response that reaches down to 60 Hz at -3 dB, an octave below the 3-inch model.

Maximum level reaches 118 dB at 1 m—the highest in the surface series. This headroom serves loud spaces: factory floors, gymnasiums, playgrounds—where a 6-inch saturates before reaching intelligibility. Dispersion holds at 130° by 130°.

Five 100 V transformer taps

Five transformer taps—5, 10, 20, 40, and 80 W—cover the entire 100 V line range, from background fill to full output. The bypass returns 8 Ω operation. No other speaker in the surface range tapers as low in level.
