Built for large collections

The VC-S3 is Pro-Ject's premium record cleaning machine, recommended for collections of more than 300 records. It cleans a 12-inch record completely in one to two rotations at 30 rpm. Wet cleaning reaches the bottom of the grooves and removes static charge.

Treated vacuum motor

Its vacuum motor sits on aluminium mounting pads and receives a cataphoretic surface treatment. It runs on 110/120 or 230/240 V mains and draws 800 W at 230 V. The 5 mm aluminium composite panels form a 415 x 325 x 272 mm cabinet weighing 8.0 kg.

Metal arm and clamp

The sturdy metal arm focuses all of the suction power onto the record surface, helped by the new self-adhesive strip. The magnetic clamp shields the label from the fluid and goes on without screwing. The pre-mixed, alcohol-free Wash it 2 fluid preserves the musical micro-information in the groove.

2.5-litre tank

The large 2.5-litre internal tank collects the vacuumed fluid and shows its fill level, with no risk of spillage. As Wash it 2 evaporates inside it, it almost never needs emptying, even after thousands of records. The machine ships with brush, arm, adhesive strip, clamp, 100 ml bottle and power cable; a 7-inch kit is available separately.
