Ultra-compact footprint

The VC-E Mini is Pro-Ject's smallest record cleaning machine, measuring 230 x 155 x 185 mm and weighing 2.1 kg without its power supply. Its 4 mm aluminium composite cabinet is handmade in the Czech Republic. Pro-Ject intends it for collections of fewer than 100 records cleaned from time to time.

Magnetic record clamp

The magnetic clamp snaps into place without any screwing. It seals the paper label against moisture during washing, so that only the grooves are treated. The 12-inch record turns at 30 rpm during cleaning.

Brush and Wash it 2

The supplied brush spreads the cleaning fluid over the whole surface and loosens debris before vacuuming. The alcohol-free Wash it 2 fluid, supplied in a 100 ml bottle, dissolves dust and grease without harming the vinyl. Washing also reduces the static charge that attracts dust.

Suction from below

Unlike arm-based machines, the VC-E Mini draws the fluid away from below with a brushless DC motor. The record comes out dry and residue-free, with less noise than a VC-E2 or VC-S3. Vacuumed fluid is stored in a built-in tank that is easy to empty, and power consumption peaks at 60 W.
